St Michael’s Tower Committee

The Tower Team

This is a relatively new committee, formed in 2006. Its mission is to restore St Michael’s Tower, which stands at Gloucester Cross, and to transform it into a heritage hub for activities and events. The tower will also be available for room and conference hire.

The building is due to open in June 2009 – fully refurbished – thanks to a £199,000 grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund. The committee has worked hard to raise the funds needed to make this project happen. For ‘what’s on at the tower’ please see our Events page.
