New Gloucester through the Ages
“BIN BAG BARD” – A Family day of rhyme and poetry with
Peter Wyton, the County Poet Laureate.
From 11.00 a.m. until 12.30 pm. A fun way of looking at rhyme.
Audience participation and laughter guaranteed.
Tickets are available from the Tourist Information Centre in Southgate Street
Cost £3.50/£2.50 concessions and £1.50 for children.
Our main Gate Streets and Historic Docks will come alive with events and activities across Gloucester. St Michael’s Tower will be playing host to strolling musicians who will be filling the Tower with song and music. Plus story telling for children – lots happening in the Tower this day.

The Rare Breeds Survival Trust will be laying on a living history
event in St Michael’s Tower with rare breeds such as sheep, chickens,
and pigs. Come and see how these wonderful animals contributed to
our economy over the centuries.
