St Michael's Tower Gloucester
The tower of the former parish church of St Michael, built c. 1460-70. The interior has an elaborate stone arched ceiling and richly coloured stained glass of 1879. Standing at the centre of the city, the tower is a prominent local landmark. It was last used as a tourist information centre and has been unoccupied since 1998 due to the poor condition of its interior.
The Gloucester Civic Trust is planning to open the building to the public. Please click on the pictures for a larger image
